Privacy Policy

Effective August 8, 2026  ·  Last updated August 8, 2026

RollCall is a discovery app for car and motorcycle meets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built RollCall for a community that is protective of its spots and its privacy — and we handle your data accordingly. We do not sell your personal information.

01 Who we are

RollCall ("RollCall," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RollCall mobile application and this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@tryrollcall.app.

02 Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address (or the identifier from a sign-in provider you choose), a username, and any profile details you add such as a display name, bio, or profile photo. This is the minimum needed to give you an account and let others recognize you in the scene.

Precise location

With your permission, we use your device's precise location to show you meets happening near you, sort events by distance, and let you check in when you arrive at a meet. Location access is opt-in — the app asks before it uses it, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings. If you decline, you can still browse meets by choosing a city or area manually.

Your live position is never public

RollCall never displays your individual live location to other users or on a public map. We use your location only to power features for you — nearby results, distances, and check-ins. We do not broadcast where you are, and we never expose home locations.

Photos and content you post

When you upload photos of your build, tag a car, or post to the feed, we store that content so it can appear where you chose to share it. To protect you and everyone in a photo:

Automated detection is not perfect. If a plate or other sensitive detail slips through, you can edit or delete the post, or report it to us and we will remove it.

Advertising, device identifiers, and analytics

We collect basic analytics about how the app is used — screens viewed, features used, crash reports, and general device information like operating system and app version. This helps us fix bugs and improve the app. This data is tied to a pseudonymous identifier, not to sensitive personal details.

Free members may see limited ads provided by Unity Ads. Unity and its service providers may collect device and online identifiers, including an advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, approximate location inferred from IP, and ad interactions. That data is used to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising from fraud. Where allowed and after the required in-app choice, it may also be used for personalized advertising. We do not use your precise device location to target ads.

Communications

If you email us or contact support, we keep those messages so we can help you and follow up.

03 How we use your information

04 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

05 Advertising choices

RollCall Pro is ad-free. Eligible free members may see an interstitial only after returning to discovery, or may choose to watch a rewarded ad for a temporary 200-mile discovery-radius boost. Ads never unlock safety access, RSVP capacity, or RollCall Pro benefits.

Contextual ads are the default. Members who are at least 18 may choose personalized ads in Settings → Ad preferences; selecting contextual ads, declining personalized ads, or being under 18 keeps advertising contextual. These choices apply before the next ad request. RollCall does not sell your personal information.

06 Your choices and rights

07 Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

08 Age requirement

RollCall is intended for drivers and riders 16 and older. Some meets add further age or entry requirements (for example 18+ or 21+) set by their organizers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16; if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will remove it.

09 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RollCall evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of RollCall after an update means you accept the revised policy.
